Lionbridge is looking for an Outsourcing Lead. Join our team in Tampere!

JOB DUTIES

    Acts as interface between the production team and Lionbridge teams dedicated to staffing, sourcing, and community management

    Supports the team in activities related to resourcing, qualification, and production onboarding of external resources based on project needs and requirements

    Manages record of team’s external resources, their profiles, performance and availability, and analyses project needs to ensure availability of resources within required timeframe

    Ensures resources receive appropriate onboarding to production, project information, guidelines, instructions, access rights

    Define communication guidelines towards community and external resources, and ensure adherence across projects

    Acts as an escalation channel related to external resources regarding to payments and adhering to task guidelines and quality



RESPONSIBILITIES

    Converts project/task requirements to expertise and qualification criteria that HR and Community Management team can use to identify most suitable external resources

    Ensures resources receive appropriate onboarding for production, project information, guidelines, instructions, access rights

    Supports team’s resourcing-related activities by providing resourcing needs to and managing communication with: HR, Vendor Management Team, and Community Management Team

    Participates in managing and evaluating the qualification processes and tests of resources for specific production purposes

    Support resource/competence base planning by forecasting business needs together with Project/Program Managers, to maximize resource efficiency, resource engagement and firm profitability

    Forecasts with Director and project management to identify demand and availability for specific competences and resource needs within the production team

    Resolve escalations and issues raised by external partners in a timely manner by instigating appropriate corrective and preventative actions

    Participate in customer calls, quarterly business reviews and other program-specific meetings 



QUALIFICATION / SKILLS

    4+ years’ experience working in a global/multinational environment 

    Sufficient seniority and credibility to advise program and functional teams

    Experience in online community/vendor management, vendor price negotiations, crowdsourcing, outsourcing, and qualification

    Ability to organize, manage, and communicate across functional teams

    Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills

    Excellent English skills

    Strong customer service focus

    Strong creative thinking and puzzle solving skills

    Experience in negotiations, conflict resolution, delegation.

    Understanding of basic financial concepts (Gross Margin, Budgets, etc.).

    Proficiency in using Excel and PowerPoint

    Ability to work in a multi-cultural global environment
