About the department
QC Raw Materials is an analytical control laboratory responsible for testing raw materials for Novo Nordisk productions all over the world. The department is part of Sourcing Operations and consists of approx. 65 employees divided into analytical teams and a support team.The department is based on trust, collaboration and a high degree of delegation within the different areas of responsibilities.We just moved into our new facility in Hillerød.
The Job
As IT system manager you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of several GxP critical IT systems located and used in the department, as well as for the implementation of smaller IT projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that the IT systems are in compliance with internal and external requirements (according to health authorities) to ensure the validated state. As an IT system manager you will be responsible to manage a portfolio of IT systems.
You will supervise the operation and maintenance of the IT systems, and identify new requirements to the system. You will manage the expectations of customers, system owners, end-users, quality assurance personnel and other key stakeholders concerning the use and operation of the IT systems. You will communicate and collaborate closely with the key stakeholders including follow-up on vendor deliverables and services according to agreements. Our local systems primarily span across, laboratory systems and inventory management systems.
In Devices & Supply Chain Management we have strong focus on ensuring the right level of IT compliance. In the first 1-2 years of your employment your focus will be on implementation of necessary changes to professionalize the computer system management in the area. On an ongoing basis, it will be your responsibility as System Manager to systematically maintain documentation, ensure security patching, perform user reviews, drive life cycle management, etc.
Qualifications
You have a strong background within IT system management and IT system validation, preferably with experience from the pharmaceutical industry and experience with automation in production. You have a relevant educational background, along with 5-10 years of working experience.
As a person you have a structured approach to challenges, you have a strong quality mind-set and you enjoy providing support within your area of expertise. You like working together with stakeholders of different professions, and it is natural for you to take lead on key improvement activities, as well as presenting and reporting the progress to management. You are thorough and find it natural to work independently. You are fully proficient in English. Knowledge of IT security is an advantage.
