Bigro Ab is now looking for a Head of Cultivation for our greenhouse company based on the west coast of Finland in a small country town called Närpes. Who are we? At Bigro, the basic principle behind our work philosophy within the company is that everyone should be treated equally and fairly, regardless of gender, age or nationality. We are 65 people from three different nationalities working in the company. Through all employees' solid and persistent work, we harvest approx. 3,5 million kg of tomatoes every year. We constantly strive to maintain the absolute highest quality and best taste of our products. Today we grow round tomatoes, cherry-, mini plum- and mini San Marzano tomatoes. The tasks in this role suit the responsible person with a high work ethic and a great interest in cultivation and biology. A basic knowledge of technology is needed as most of our plant management and climate steering today is run through computers and technical equipment. We'd like to see that you have some work experience in the industry. Additional to this position you will plan and be responsible for ordering material/supplements needed for the production including biological treatment planning. We require your English language skills to be at a professional working proficiency-level. However, as the main language in our company is Swedish, any capacity or a strong will to learn is essential.
