Gardenworld Nurseries produce an extensive range of specimen trees, hedging, shrubs and perennials in Ireland for the trade only.
Job Description
- General day-to-day working within a busy wholesale nursery environment
- Transfer of product to and from appropriate growing areas
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles
- Potting, growing and general maintenance of crop duties
- General cleaning, power hosing and use of machinery
- Maintaining good hygiene standards, both personally and with work equipment
Skills & Requirements
- Horticulture experience is an advantage but not necessary as training will be provided
- Ability to precisely follow directions and work outdoors
- Self-motivated, able to work without direct supervision
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and multitask
