AUTOMATION ENGINEER

Europem is recruiting a AUTOMATION ENGINEER

• As an Automation Engineer you support both ongoing production activities and project teams.
• You provide support for acute problems on the one hand, and on the other hand you also think at a higher level about the current automation systems for a switch to industry 4.0.
• You are responsible for visually displaying the production processes using WinCC.
• You work closely together with, among others, Production, Quality Engineering, IT services, Technical service and external partners.
• You report to the Head of E&I department.
• Must be able analyze field data in operating facilities
• Travel 20%

• You are an Industrial Engineer Electromechanical / Automation and have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in a production environment.
• Very good knowledge of :
• • Automation systems: Siemens (S5/S7), Rockwell, Mitsubishi, ABB, Yokogawa...
  • Programmation languages: IL, ST, LD, FBD, SFC, Grafcet
  • Programmable controllers: ControlLogix, PLC-5, SLC ladder logic.
• You can interpret electrical diagrams (P & ID, E-plan, intools).
• You have an inquisitive, curious and driven attitude.
• You are a problem solver, analytical and pragmatic, with a service-oriented attitude.
• Associate's degree or higher preferred
• Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) highly preferred
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills with personnel of all levels (Craft through Executive)
