Help set the visual direction for LEGO® books and magazines As Visual Editor, you serve as an important link between the LEGO Group and our publishing and licensing partners all over the world. You become a key player in ensuring that the LEGO® DNA is expressed in just the right way according to our values and guidelines. An important part of this is to ensure a commercial angle that considers our partners’ business as well as our own. In all your projects, you coordinate with a great number of internal and external stakeholders, when you: Evaluate written drafts for new stories, develop re-briefs and present these to our partners. These briefs shall outline the story and include ideas on how to express the true LEGO spirit – in story, pictures and words Create briefs that combine written guidelines with (hand) sketched storyboards Ensure that authors and publishers are aligned with our tone of voice, values and individual play theme to secure that the stories are linked to the LEGO brick play experience Bring relevant insight on children´s play into the collaboration to ensure added play value Bring stories to life As part of our Licensing & Extended Line department, you play a central role in helping engage children across the globe in the LEGO universe. Great visualisation and collaboration skills In this position, your key to success lies in your ability to explain your ideas to others in a way that is easily understood - also when you communicate with contacts based in e.g. Hong Kong and New York via phone or email. You can establish and develop good relations to all kinds of people - and you know how to make people stick to a brief in a positive and constructive way.
