About the department
Business Consulting is a department in IT Shared Services within Corporate IT. The Business Consulting team is comprised of young and dedicated people primarily with backgrounds from top-tier consultancies or with other relevant experiences. The vision of Business Consulting is to function as the internal pipeline of delivering future IT project managers to both Corporate IT and the global IT organisation.
The job
Business Consultants are assigned to IT projects as track leads on large IT projects, in project management office (PMO) functions, or as project managers for minor IT projects. All Business Consultants are following the project management career path, and receive supervision by senior IT project managers. This position will expose you to senior management and stakeholders globally which is why it is key that you have a global mind-set, are ready for changes, and possess strong presentation and communication skills. Further, you will build up knowledge within a specific business area and understand how IT can support the business processes.
Qualifications
We are looking for a Business Consultant who is passionate about IT projects and understands how IT projects and systems can add value to the business in Novo Nordisk.
You have a Master’s degree in Business, IT or another relevant field combined with at least 2 -3 years of IT project related working experiences preferably within a pharmaceutical company environment. You have a positive attitude towards new tasks and responsibilities, and are eager to make sure things are planned and executed. You have a strong track record of building relationships and communicating with stakeholders at various levels, both internally and externally. You are familiar with collaboration across organisations and geographies and you are highly independent and pro-active, as well as possess a quality mind-set. You are fluent in written and spoken English at a professional level.
