Group Financial Controller to Group Finance & Accounting

Your areas of responsibilities
At Ramboll Group Finance & Accounting, we control a dozen country business units and six cross border markets, covering more than 100 reporting units.
In close cooperation with fellow corporate colleagues, as well as colleagues in the numerous reporting business units, you will be involved in the following activities:
•Reviewing and evaluating incoming reporting packages from the reporting units
•Preparing monthly consolidated Financial Statements
•Preparing quarterly consolidated Management Accounts including Consolidated forecast
•Preparing an annual consolidated Budget
•Preparing the Group Statutory Financial Statements
•Ad hoc analysis’s to the Group executive Board and Group Board of Directors
•Supporting the corporate functions with analysis’s
• Benchmark analysis’s and other statistical analysis’s
• Accounting manual and guidelines
The position requires that you are able to work independently, but also as member of the dedicated and dynamic team and that you take responsibility for processes in and development of the functions that the team covers. We seek to ensure numbers and deliver reports on time and in high quality. Development and change will always be part of the job and you must be familiar with working in an international environment.
Some travel outside Denmark must be expected.
You and your competencies
You are a driven, hardworking individual but also a team-player with a strong sense of quality in everything you do and a good ability to understand the areas you work with. You would like to learn and growt together with the team and participate in the further development of the team and reporting processes. A good sense of humor is also highly valued and we expect you to take part in the daily operation and social activities.
Futhermore, we expect you to have:
•A relevant education e.g. qualified accountant (Cand merc. Aud), HD or similar with focus in finance or auditing.
•Relevant experience in group accounting
•Strong interest and practical experience in group accounting from an international, Danish-based group company
•It is essential that you have worked with Danish GAAP
•Fluent English, spoken as well as written, is a prerequisite
•Solid understanding of MS Office application, especially high skills in Excel
•Knowledge of Maconomy, Cognos Controller will be an advantage
You need to have integrity and authority and to be flexible at times when circumstances demand it. You also need to be able to handle pressure in busy periods and a good understanding of processes.
To succeed in the job you need to be proactive and take responsibility and be able to work independently, making decisions and communicating these as well as accepting phases of development with some "manual" work.

The team refers directly to Group Director, Finance and Shared Support and we provide support to all business units on financial issues.
