Are you looking for an excellent opportunity to apply your knowledge within filling technology and automation to support the global insulin production at Novo Nordisk? Then you may be our new technology Professional supporting our filling process at Diabetes Finished Products (DFP), Manufacturing Development (ManDev). The job is located in Bagsværd and with contact to our global production sites.
About the department
You will be part of the Aseptic Production Support Team. We are experienced and highly engaged Specialists, Senior Project Managers, technicians and Professionals, all responsible for their various fields of expertise and to support the global production of insulin. You will be working closely together with specialists and professionals, primarily providing process and technical support to the existing production sites as well as new sites under construction. We are working and interacting with sites globally, on all levels in the organisation and across departments and cultures. We are are striving to deliver best in class support to our customers.
The position
The filling lines are a vital part of the aseptic production. As an technology Professional you will be the subject matter expert, together with the Specialists, providing support and guidance on validation, design / modifications and failure investigations related to technology and automation issues together with your local colleagues. You will be the key person in securing correct automation system requirements are maintained and adjusted, to ensure that relevant requirements are preserved. You will also participate in developing the future technology within the filling area.
In addition to this you will also play an active role in the identification and sharing of best practises, together with your colleagues from sites globally. Due to the global presence of our production sites and equipment suppliers, you can look forward to approximately 25 days of travel annually.
Qualifications
You have a relevant academic background as an engineer, and a minimum of four year’s practical experience from aseptic production filling injectable products, either as area specialist, project manager or work package owner. You have experience with filling equipment from an system perspective, as well as knowledge about cGMP, GAMP 21CFR Part11 and other relevant regulatory requirements. We also expect you to be familiar with validation aspects from an automation point of view. Basic understanding of SCADA and MES systems is needed but writing code is not a part of the job.
You are a team player, yet capable of delivering results independently when required. You have good networking skills and a well-developed understanding of other cultures. As the job requires interacting with many different people, at different levels within the organisation, good communication skills as well as a service minded and professional approach is required.
As the corporate language is English, fluency (oral and written) is a prerequisite.
