Novo Nordisk is launching new products every year in more than 80 countries while maintaining and further developing its existing product portfolio. This requires thorough, strategic financial management and reporting as well as market planning. As a Business Analyst in Business Area Europe North & Central (EUNC) you will be involved in these processes to support decision making for the benefit of our affiliates.
About the department
The EUNC Business Information department complements and supports the financial management, reporting and market insights activities in the business area. EUNC comprises of affiliates in the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Switzerland, Finland and Austria and employs around 450 employees. With its annual turnover of 4.2 billion DKK EUNC is the biggest European Business Area in Novo Nordisk. In addition, EUNC is also among the 1st areas in Europe (and globally) to launch the newest products.
The position
As Business Analyst you will be working as the business partner to two of our affiliates. You will report to the Business Information Manager and you will actively drive business decisions by translating market and financial data into business insights. Thorough stakeholder management and consistent cross-functional collaboration will be keys to success and your tasks will span from conducting monthly reporting tasks over sales and market forecasting to sales force excellence and business partnering with our affiliate Business Information Directors. You will be the owner of all financial and market planning as well as reporting for your affiliates meaning that you will be responsible for analysing sales and market share performance and cost drivers. In addition, you will actively be working on enhancing the use of the Global Shared Service Centre in India in collaboration with your Business Information colleagues.
Qualifications
You hold a Master degree in Finance or Economics and 2-5 years of relevant work experience within finance with a focus on management reporting, financial planning and analysis. You have strong analytical skills, a proactive mind-set and you strive for excellence. You are self-driven, comfortable taking on new responsibilities and you are able to see opportunities. You have great communication skills and you are able to cooperate effectively with people at all levels in the organisation. You must be fluent in English while proficiency in German is an advantage but not a requirement. Travel is an integrated part of the job and you should be ready to travel to our affiliates approx. 30-40 days per year. Lastly, to become a trusted business partner you will need to be willing to invest time and efforts in understanding our business and the challenges we face in our operations.
