Project Manager – product development

Then you could be our new R&D Project Manager at Danfoss High Pressure Pumps (HPP). You will be part of our Project Office, based in Nordborg and you will report to the Head of Project Office. Cross-functional product Development Your objective is to lead and manage cross-functional product development teams from business proposal till the products are introduced to the market, with focus on realising all the business case targets (cost, product specification, schedule, variable cost, etc.), including the realisation of sales volumes by leading and managing market launch activities. Being an HPP Project Manager, you will manage and coach cross-functional teams of 3-8 people. The project management tools and processes vary, depending on project type and size (product change, new product variant or new product development projects). Flexible and self-driven project manager with strong communication skills You have a background either a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering. Moreover, you possess a strong understanding of the basics of project management and have a high level of flexibility abling you to adjust to different type of projects. You possess cooperation skills to develop solid relations both with internal and external partners. You have business acumen, a global mind-set and solid people management skills, which are fundamental in this job when managing colleagues of various nationalities and backgrounds. Furthermore, you have experience working in a matrix organisation and you have either participated as a team core member or managed product development projects. Your high level of energy and drive ensures that you take responsibility for all your projects, working persistently to achieve your goals. Last but not least, you are not afraid of solving daily ad-hoc tasks to ensure that you successfully deliver your projects and that you support the expected development of HPP.
